I had to update Jazz’s vaccinations before we travel next month, so I went to try Musti ja Mirri’s new vet clinic, the one they’ve opened inside one of their stores.

The location is actually pretty clever. It sits right next to an Evidensia vet hospital and Murren Murkina (still the best around for BARF and raw food) in Tammisto, Vantaa.

The first thing that struck me was that I’d forgotten how big that store was, but the clinic is right after the entrance.

What I loved most and the first thing I noticed was not having to wait in line. I arrived on time, and the vet was ready for us.

The waiting area is split into separate spaces for dogs and cats, and the room for cats was kind of catified, which made Jazz super happy.

Päivi, the vet, let Jazz roam free to relax while she got his meds ready, gave him loads of crunchy and wet snacks, and as always, he behaved super well (unlike Funky, my other cat, which unfortunately, I only know 1 vet who can deal with him without sedating him – but that is a story for another day).

While they prepared the bill, I had time to look around the shop, which is huge and has everything you can think of. Another perk is that there’s a grooming station that does cats too. Nail clipping, cat baths, cat physio, cat body maintenance, and even cat training. Surreal!

As a nice surprise, I noticed Churu (IBANA foods) finally arrived in Finland woohooo (apparently since last January), so no more stocking up in Spain for my fussy cats.

Left with 181 loyalty points too, because yes, I did some shopping.

For once, this isn’t a strategy I read about in a report.
I’ve now felt it as a customer, and I totally understand why it works.
