FlyTogether is an international movement founded in 2021 that advocates for improving how domestic animals are treated at airports and by airlines worldwide. The initiative aims to drive social awareness and industry change so that pets can travel more safely, humanely, and inclusively.
The organization’s primary communication channels have traditionally been Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
Until 2024, FlyTogether had no presence on LinkedIn.
I proposed launching and managing a LinkedIn channel to expand the movement’s reach toward professionals, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and the pet industry.
My Role (2024–2025)
For one year, I led the development and management of the FlyTogether LinkedIn presence, focusing on awareness, engagement, and strategic positioning.
Key responsibilities included:
Managing the LinkedIn page and establishing the platform as a professional communication channel for the movement.
Engaging with pet parents and future pet owners by sharing insights that advocate for more compassionate and inclusive travel experiences for animals.
Creating conversation-driven content that encourages open discussion around pet air travel and calls on airlines and policymakers to improve pet travel policies.
Collaborating with pet industry stakeholders, animal-welfare companies, and media as part of a broader brand awareness strategy.
Driving awareness and strategic growth to support the development and commercialization of solutions that make traveling with animals safer and more accessible.
