Stockholm-Madrid by train in just 21h 🤯

This will be possible by 2030.

I’ve been following this topic closely because it’s not just about faster European train travel, it could also transform pet travel.

Currently, driving from Stockholm to Madrid means covering about 3145 km, while the train route is slightly shorter at 2593 km. Today, that journey usually takes several train changes and around 4 days in total.
But with new projects such as Nox Mobility, European Sleeper, and ÖBB NightJet, that could soon become a single-day trip.

📍 Stockholm – Copenhagen (4h)
📍 Copenhagen – Berlin (4h)
📍 Berlin – Paris (7h)
📍 Paris – Madrid (6h)
A total of 21h

Imagine having breakfast in Copenhagen, lunch in Berlin and dinner in Paris with your fam and your pup/kitten. Wouldn’t this be amazing? 🤩
Where do I sign?? 😇

BUT, here is the 2 big questions for me:

1️⃣ What will pet inclusive travel look like on these new routes by 2030?
2️⃣ Will it be as simple as booking a seat, or will pets still face ridiculously complicated restrictions?

I’d love to see a future where crossing Europe with your pet is as easy as taking the car 🧡
